I had been recommended this restaurant by friends, and taken 8 businessmen with me. It may have been a bad night for them, but we were quiet and courteous. They were rude and unhappy looking to most of the guests around us. At the end of the meal we paid the bill, and waited 15 mins. before we had to ask for our change (about 18 pounds). Food was o.k but all of the dishes were similar in taste. Better around in York (my opinion). Rating: 25%

If ever a restaurant has lost its way this is it. Once flavourful curries are now swimming in oil, in fact the only thing worth going here for now is the poppadoms on the occasional time they get them right. Rating: 5%

Tend to agree with Mark that it's lost its way a bit. Another place suffering from the same syndrome as the Lal Quila - excellent starters leave you expecting an equally good main course, whereas what you get here tends to be a very large but rather bland main course (clearly everything here comes from the one pot) with too little depth or variation. Used to be much better. The flashy surroundings just look pretentious when the place is empty - which it is a lot of the time now. Rating: 55%

I still think its good, go around once a forrnight to take away and the food is still great tasting, I'll agree that the people aren't as friendly as they once were but I think the food is still good Rating: 90%

Ordered 3 home deliveries from them. 1 was over 1.5 hours to deliver the other 2 were bang on. Dishes are ok, but not the best. Rating: 60%
