Go here for the buffet meal - I think they do it every evening. Price depends on when you go. Very tasty food, I would say better than the Willow. Good service and nice atmosphere. Rating: 85%

We ordered a couple of sweet and sour dishes last week and were completely disapointed. The food arrived late and luke-warm (the chips where stone cold) and I had to phone a second time to order the food. The food itself was flavourless and over cooked, we had both boiled and fried rice and both tatsed like they had been reheated. The sauce was too sweet and tasted like syrup, with the meat (chicken and pork) being very cheap and overcooked. All in all not a restaurant I will order from again. Rating: 5%

Variable quality - maybe depends on who is cooking and delivering that evening. Sometimes the food is just wonderful - and delivery in less than 30 minutes. Other times, delivery takes 90 minutes, and the food is greasy and less than piping hot. They throw in a couple of alcopops for orders over a certain amount (£12 from memory, but don't quote me) Rating: 50%

Now, I've only ever used this place as a takeaway restaurant. As a sit down the food is good. The food is not exceptional - after all it is an all you can eat production line - but in some way it is quite addictive. Being a self service buffet interaction with the staff is limited but they are friendly. The pricing is excellent and being all you can eat allows you to sample several dishes, this is probably the restaurants appeal. Rating: 95%

I do not know about the other reviews... since they are a bit old now... but I went there few days ago and:
1. The food was great
2. The service was very good
3. The price was extremely low.
The manager has changed lately and so the quality of the restaurant.
I think it is one of the best Chineese restaurants in York (value for money). It is small, but quiet. Not too many people around (unless is Saturday).
I recommend it to you. I do not know about the home delivery though. I haven't tried this service yet. Rating: 95%
