Food's generally very good here, service is enthusiastic and friendly if not particularly swift, but prices are a bit on the steep side. Nice bustling atmosphere and reasonably comfortable surroundings. The menu really aims at generic Italian trattoria/"home cooking", and isn't bad at all. It'd be half the price in Italy, but what the hell - you can get a good salsicce e fagioli here, the pizzas taste authentic, the pasta's pretty good (the gnocchi Modena is a great winter dish) and you can get a decent bottle of Barolo. Not bad at all, would rate higher if the prices were a little lower. Rating: 75%
