SERVICE: The staff were surly and rude. For example,our wine glasses were almost thrown onto the table. Once our food had arrived, no interest was taken as to whether we were enjoying it or not. THE FOOD: We chose main courses only and ordered Moussaka and Chicken Kebab. The Moussaka was distinctly average. There was very little flavour to the dish, which lacked vegetables. The chicken kebab was appalling. The chicken was tough and dry and seemed as if it had been sitting around for hours. It was left uneaten. When we complained about this dish at the end of our meal the Manager pretended to be shocked. However, the dish was cleared away rapidly without him bothering to check it. No refund was offered. THE WINE: The wine was average but that's Greek wine for you! CONCLUSION: We will certainly not be returning to this restaurant which clearly trades on its excellent location rather than its food and hospitality. Rating: 10%

The restaurant is not very big but it is warm and friendly. Nice environment. The staff there were friendly and they were quick with our orders. The food was really good (Cypriot variety dish, Souvlaki, and Meze!) and the wine was pretty good too. I think we should have gone for a bottle (which was bit more expensive...) however... in average I would say it is worth a visit. Try not to go on a busy day. I think this is a problem with most restaurants ... especially popular restaurants. You might find that the attention you will get, the service time and quality of food won’t be the same with a quiet day. Well this is what I have figured out. Rating: 90%

We won't be going back to this restaurant in a hurry. We called earlier in the day and staff would not take a booking from us because "there was no need", however when we turned up that evening with no reservation the attitude of the staff was appauling. We were made to feel very uncomfortable, shoved to a table in the window and instead of being treated like a valued customer, we were treated an arrogance and ignored most of the time. Food was average, certainly not worth the hassle. Rating: 15%

I went into manas restaurant for a meal on a saturday night and we were seated upstairs. we ordered the meze. this was a brilliant starter mane course and deser. After our meal we enjoyed traditional greek dancing which we participated in with the staff, plate smashing and then a disco. we enjoyed it so much we went back during the week. we were seated downstairs and although there wasn't the same party atmosphere we had a very pleasent meal. the staff were very friendly and made our time spent there very enjoyable. i would recommend this restaurant to anyone.  Rating: 100%
