Changed hands after the floods in 2000 and upped its game considerably - used to be fairly mediocre, now still has the usual generic Cantonese/Peking menu (with few surprises - bland but very competent) and some excellent new specialities including a superb range of Malay rendangs. Rating: 70%

I will never set foot here again! Took a party of 12 twenty something friends. Staff obviously decided we were students and treated us like scum. We waited 2 hours for food which was bland and looked like the veg had been chopped with a brick. Chicken was stringy and boiled to death. Vegetarian dishes contained pieces of fat. Then they decided we didn't tip enough and started shouting at us!! Rating: 0%
